Spring brings Snow Showers

01/09/2020

The first day of Spring in the Southern Hemisphere brought with it freezing temperatures and a fresh dusting of snow for all of the local ski fields around Queenstown. This brought a great start to spring skiing and snowboarding around the region.

Coronet Peak saw 25cm of snow overnight with a snow base of 45-160cm, bringing the season snowfall to 170cm. Over the Crown Range, Cardrona Resort saw 22cm of snow overnight, with all lifts open.

Before heading up the hill, you can check the road and lift status of each mountain here
