We’ve been your winter rental specialists in Queenstown for over 20 years and we want to make sure you have a great experience instore and on the mountain. We’re always available to answer any questions you have regarding making a booking, how to get to the shop, if you can keep you gear and extra day or two, and more! Here are a few of our most frequently asked questions and answers:
- I want to have a day(s) off during my hire period. How does that work? No worries! When booking, only pay for the days you plan to ski or snowboard. You can take days off during your hire period. Our instore team can arrange this when you come in for fittings. Start your hire period from the first day you want to go skiing. During busy periods, you may be required to return your rental gear for your days off and come back in to pick up new gear when you restart your rental. Although we can't guarantee that you'll get exactly the same equipment, it will always be equivalent.
- Can I swap my skis for a snowboard or vice versa during my rental? No problem. Just bring in all of your rental equipment and we'll swap it out for you any time during your hire period.
- What time do I need to return my equipment on my last day of hire? You will need to return all your ski and snowboard equipment by 6pm on the last day of hire.
- How is my rental equipment fitted? We customise each rental fitting. We get such details as your foot sole length, weight, height, ability and experience, then recommend equipment to suit. Should you have any issues at any time during your hire, let us know and we will make it right.
We’re open 7 days a week during the winter season from 7.30am to 7.00pm at 39 Camp Street, in the heart of Downtown Queenstown.
